Behind the Scenes: A Day at Our Jaipur Workshop

The SWAROOP workshop opens before sunrise. Fabric is laid out, dyes are mixed, and blocks are inspected — every day begins with ritual and precision.

Morning: Preparation

Cotton is washed, starched, and stretched on long tables. Artisans check each block for wear and touch up carvings as needed.

Afternoon: Printing

The printing floor comes alive with colour. Teams work in coordinated rhythm, each person responsible for a specific colour layer in the multi-step process.

Evening: Finishing

Printed fabric is dried in the sun, washed to set the dyes, and inspected for quality before being sent for stitching.
